UK Marketing Director
Graduated with a degree in Economics – thus followed a period of abject terror at the prospect of working in finance or Government! The result - fleeing to Asia for a year, before throwing myself into the complete antithesis – a Masters in Cultural Management! My 20 year career has followed a similarly diverse pattern…
Started working for the University on international projects whilst studying, moved into film, seconded to BAFTA, seduced by a job title - hopped into the old Business Link Service – was made redundant, sold my soul and did a year in legal working on offices in the Middle East, danced back into the cultural sector at the Science Museum Group, moved to English Heritage as Territory Marketing Manager for the North of England where I spend 6 glorious years before moving to the Continuum Group in 2016 as Head of Sales, Marketing and Brand Experience - and here I am now in the very different but exciting world of cybersecurity.
I have a commercial head on creative shoulders and adore marketing – I love the complex and conflicting mix of data science overlaid laid with creativity that (when you get right) can yield fantastic results.
Outside of work I live in the countryside with my wonderful husband, 2 step children and Ruby and Minnie, our beloved miniature dachshunds.
Things I like: good manners, people, positivity, pro activity, peanut butter.
Things I don’t like: mood hovers, rudeness, waffle, slow pace, sprouts.
